Description

This lovely cottage, located in a complex, is located just off the high street of Watchet, a pretty harbour town.

Located in the heart of the ancient seaside port of Watchet, Croft Cottages offer a wide range of properties to suit any size and requirement. All the cottages (refs W44203, W44204, W44206, W44207, W44208, W44209, W44210, W44211 and W44212) are well furnished and presented and their convenient location within Watchet adds to their appeal.

Located just off the high street means guests can wander into town for a walk around the harbour, eat and drink in the local restaurants and pubs, and also catch a train at the local station of the renowned West Somerset Steam Railway. There is a regular bus service so you won’t even need the car. There are beaches at Blue Anchor, Kilve and Dunster. The regional town of Minehead is a short distance away and with a very good range of shops and other local amenities. Take a walk along the promenade overlooking the picturesque harbour and enjoy an ice cream. Minehead is also the start of the South West Coastal Path which provides some challenging yet spectacular walking. The pretty medieval village of Dunster, with its castle (National Trust) is well worth a day out. Other areas of interest close by are Porlock and Porlock Weir and a little further along the coast are Lynton and Lynmouth, the two towns connected by the Victorian cliff railway. Exmoor National Park offers great walking for all abilities and there are some great spots to visit including Withypool, Lanacre and Tarr Steps. Shop, pub and restaurant 200 yards.
