Located in the historic and picturesque town of Watchet with its harbour and heritage railway close by this is the ideal base for a holiday in West Somerset. The accommodation is a well equipped bungalow in a private culdesac, as clean and comfortable as you could wish for. Dog friendly with an enclosed rear garden and even a small but perfectly adequate swimmimg pool on site this cottage suited our needs to perfection.

We had a really lovely time the bungalow was very clean and comfortable with everything that you would need for a brilliant stay. The owner was on hand to help out and give advice very nice man. An indoor swimming pool was a real plus, very clean and right on hand. We would definitely go again, the local amenities in the town were just a few years away and dogs very welcome, everyone was very welcoming.

very clean bungalow owners very helpful and friendly good value for money ,however being a dog owner we found that was nowhere to run your dogs and the local beaches where not the best for running your dogs, also the local pubs for eating left a lot to be desired ,also the chip shop was the worst I have ever used but overhaul the area is very nice and I would stay at croft cottages again, however in my opinion wachet is not a holiday place to visit if you have large dogs

Response on behalf of the owner; Thank you for your comments both positive and negative. The Mineral line just around the corner is a vast exercise area for dogs and really popular. Sorry about your experience with eateries but they are outwith our control. The chippy up Lidymore road has an excellent reputation. As does the tapas bar in Anchor street and Spice merchant restaurant. Daytime there are also good cafe’s etc. I guess these things are all subjective. Our business has been offering self catering holidays for almost 30 years with great success. Again thanks.
