This semi-detached, single-storey cottage is set in the Highland village of Drumnadrochit, close to all amenities. With views towards the hills, it is a perfect base for those wishing to explore Loch Ness and the Highlands. A short walk from the village will take you to the shores of Loch Ness and the magnificent ruins of Urqhuart Castle. There are many other historical sites within easy reach, including Culloden Battlefield, Fort George, and Cawdor and Brodie castles, or you can follow the Malt Whisky Trail and sample a wee dram.
For the outdoor enthusiast, Glen Affric, Glen Urqhuart and The Great Glen Way offer superb walking and cycling, whilst horse riding, golf and a variety of water sports are also available nearby. Heading north, the Moray coastline is dotted with unspoilt sandy beaches and an abundance of wildlife, and boat trips to spot the dolphins are very popular. Drive south to Fort Augustus where Loch Ness joins the Caledonian Canal and meander along the canal towpaths watching the boats go by.
The North Coast 500 boasts magnificent scenery, explore the Cairngorms National Park or visit the beautiful Isle of Skye. Drumnadochit has several places to eat, drink and shop.
