Had a lovely family holiday here. Local area has lots to do for all ages and Oswestry close by for takeaways, supermarkets and a spot of shopping. House was clean, garden and hot tub well used by everyone. Couple of minor issues - downstairs toilet not ideally located for those in the bedrooms above the garage and flush was temperamental; lack of glassware for beer/soft drinks/children and no welcome tray or note which would have been nice and is quite common in our experience. However, these are easily rectified and would still recommend this for a family break.

11 of us went as a family get together and it was just what the doctor ordered.. the cottage was spacious and amazing for the 4 children. A safe enclosed garden over looking fields for miles..farm animals to feed and stroke. Stunning sunsets. A huge dining room seperate lounge and large kitchen diner. Our only minor dissapointments were the showers were cold and the first night was freezing it takes a good 24 hour to heat up being so big ...So our advice to the owners is to definitely put the heating on first thing for the visitors as we couldnt check in until 3pm and it was freezing. Also maybe add some heating to the play room! We had boys that couldn't spend more than 10 minutes at a time in there as it was ice cold. The 8 mark for cleanliness was that on our arrival the conservatory had at least 25 flies trapped in there that we had to open windows to get out! It had only just been cleaned so why were they not sorted? The log burner In the lounge was amazing and a God send and following a call to the owner he very kindly brought us 2 more boxes of logs up in the evening..The hot tub was magical... All in all a fantastic weekend of laughter fun games and precious memories made ...

The photos don’t do the house justice absolutely stunning the views are out of this world. And ten mins from Oswestry so if you did want a quiet drink in Oswestry taxis arent over priced we will definitely be back but with our families next time beautiful place thank you for having us xx

We all had a great time at Craigllwyn Farmhouse - all nine of us age range from 10 to 80... plus a lively cocker spaniel. Beautiful views, really spacious house and everything one needs while away from home. Number of places to visit and plenty of walks in the area. Very friendly local people and animals as well. Thank you!!

Lovely, well-equipped accommodation in a beautiful setting. We had a wonderful, relaxed week and made full use of the hot tub! The owners were helpful and quickly sorted out the broken dryer - they were there at hand if needed, but did not intrude. The whole family enjoyed our week at Craigllwyn Farmhouse and would happily stay again.

Lovely location with stunning view from patio. Suited mixed age family group and dog for celebratory weekend.. Conveniently not far from Oswestry. Friendly cows, donkeys and even a passing pig.

We had a lovely family holiday, the location and views were stunning. The property was spacious - enough for 3 families to be comfortable and not on top of each other. The kitchen was well equipped and ensured we could easily prepare meals and the large dinning table seated the 10 of us perfectly. All the beds were comfortable and bedrooms a decent size. We loved the garden, patio and hot tub which was great to take in the fantastic scenery. The only draw back for the property was the bathroom situation - the bedrooms situated above the garage only had access to a small shower room downstairs but no toilet. Which with 2 young children was inconvenient having to walk downstairs and across to the opposite side of the house to use a toilet. Having a full bathroom in this part of the property would make the house work even better. Overall we loved our stay at Craigllwyn Farm and we would happily return and explore the area further.

This was an odd experience. The place was ok, if a little dated decor wise. But there were so many little things that needed improving or repairing. Things like only one dishwasher tablet left; toaster not working; shower falling off the wall. Plus every cupboard or drawer you opened was stuffed with Christmas decorations. It all seemed a little haphazard and we didn;t even meet the owner until we were departing. It's a nice property with some good features, great views and lots of potential, but as it is now we wouldn't plan to go back.
