Apartment was well equipped. Lovely view from living room. However very disappointing with view from bedrooms. Suggest black curtains in bedroom as ships from the harbour had it lights on all night which shine through curtains. Right next to a ship yard which men start working, banging, compression on from 7.30am. Not a lot around area. Local bus was handy only 5 minutes walk away.

Piling in the boat yard started at 8:00 every morning and carried on all day. There was no wardrobe in the smaller bedroom. Kitchen needed more storage to put our own food in what we had bought down with us. In the brochure it said shops, restaurants and pubs close by it also needs to say one small supermarket pub only opens during the day.

The Chief's Suite was almost the perfect location for us. The only downsides were the boat graveyard next door to the side french window. One boat had a horizontal scaffold pole running the length of the boat and at a height which was half way up that french window somewhat spoiling the view. The penthouse suite next door had a balcony which sat on top of our suite. The occupants in that suite were very heavy footed and that noise reverberated loudly down into ours. Other than those two annoyances, we enjoyed our stay at the Chief's Suite, Crabbers Wharf, and would maybe consider another holiday there, particularly if it were in that penthouse suite and maybe the boat graveyard was not so intrusive to the views.

Amazing accommodation with everything you need for a few nights away. Beds are extremely comfortable. Spotlessly clean. It’s lovey to sit in the lounge and look at the beautiful views out to sea and watch the sun set. Well worth a visit.
