Excellent cottage, incredibly nice owners, very helpful. The cottage is in a ver quiet location virtually in the centre of Ledbury, nice pubs, great shops, The surrounding countryside is very beautiful. Upton Upon Severn is very nice, as was Ross on Wye. We bought some local walk leaflets, 30p each from Ice Café , they are on the wall just behind the door. Great walks accurately described and easy to follow. The cottage itself is fully equipped with all necessities and a small bench outside is our only suggestion to make it better, it is a real suntrap in the corner. Would definitely stay there again. An excellent week.

Perfect for what we wanted. It was in a fantastic town centre location, a comfortable living area, well equipped kitchen and great bedroom and bathroom. The free parking was a real bonus, especially in such a central position and the town itself packed with history, enticing pubs and restaurants and interesting independent shops.

First to use this little cottage. When we arrived it was absolutely freezing (easy fix, heating could be on for the guests arrival). Slight issue with the WiFi also, as we had no phone signal this was required for planning of trips during our stay. These were both resolved by the on-call assistance which was a nice extra. Personal preferences of the cottage: Good - Shower was really nice, kitchen is filled with equipment, nice tv and second toilet was a plus. Cake and chocs left for us to enjoy. Bad - The bed felt hard and the couch was a bit hard, very little room for non-fridge items to be stored. However I imagine the couch was new and will become comfier. Overall we likes this cottage for our weekend in Ledbury and a Welcome Pack would be helpful with the wifi code and heating guide. Ledbury itself is very quaint with many independent shops, pubs and cafes which was nice to see.

    Response from:

Response on behalf of the Owner; Firstly we would like to say thank you for taking the time to write a review on your visit to our cottage in Ledbury. We take the quality of the cottages very seriously and were dismayed to hear of the problems you encountered along with the points you raised about comfort. We have added the heating and Wi-Fi to our check list for our team. The sofa is new as you said so we hope it will soften, if we get further comments we will take action. The bed is new as well, so we have added a topper to improve comfort. More space has been made for groceries. We leave tea, coffee, milk and cake as a welcome for our guest. If you have any suggestions that we could add to this please let us know. We apologise that things were not perfect for your stay and will do everything in our control to ensure this situation doesn’t happen again. Again, thank you for your review.
