Lovely location, stunning views. Owner helpful. Slightly too small for three of us and two Labradors. Didn’t realise until we were there that dogs were not to be left on their own or allowed in the garden, which meant we had to take them with us everywhere.

Gordon really helpful and knowledgeable abt the area. Breath taking sceanery. Cosy cottage is a slice of heaven that the world has not touched. It’s old fashioned in the furniture which adds to the character of the cottage. It was so good and reasonably priced will be returning again this year go and see for yourself but I guarantee you won’t be disappointed.

Certainley lives up to its name, Cosy Cottage is just that. So peaceful and comfy and away from it all, but only a ten minute drive to shops/pubs. Quite a few walks to choose from or the steamer over to Bowness. The real gem is Gordon the owner who lives next door, he has a wealth of information about the area. Also leaves a welcome tray of tea and cake! Perfectly perfect in every way.
