Wildlife lovers won’t be disappointed either, as the region is a hotspot for porpoise, dolphins, minke whales and basking sharks. Bird-watching highlights include sea eagles, golden eagles and puffins, whilst otters, seals and deer can be seen along the shore. There are plenty of walks and outdoor activities nearby, including horse riding, fishing on a nearby hill loch, cycling, golf and a variety of water sports to name but a few.
