Felton is in an ideal location not too far from the A1 making travelling around very easy in all directions, head over to the stunning Northumberland Heritage Coast Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty with miles of golden beaches, peppered with historic castles or head west over to Hadrian’s Wall area where you can spend some time walking some of the ancient wall, perhaps stop of at one of the Roman Forts. Felton is only a few minutes from Alnwick, home still to the Duke of Northumberland who resides in part of the majestic castle, used in Harry Potter films and in ‘Downton Abbey’ TV series where some scenes were shot. Discover the cobbled streets with a great choice of pubs and cafés. Close to Amble with the popular Sunday morning market, a must do whilst in the area.
