A good base for visiting the delights of Anglesey, this former copper miner’s cottage is 2 miles from the beach.

Ideally located in the small village of Rhosybol, just 2 miles from Amlwch on the northern coast of Anglesey, this terraced, former copper miner’s cottage is perfect for year round holidays. In a field behind the property, (turn left from front of cottage, then left again down wooded path), is a community playground for small children. In addition to swings and other equipment, there is plenty of room to kick a football (goal-posts also provided!). Close by is Parys Mountain with its heritage copper trail and Llyn Alaw, perfect for bird lovers and fishermen. Visit the many family attractions, including a sea zoo, butterfly world and the mediaeval castle in Beaumaris. Coastal walks, sailing, horse-riding and day trips to Ireland or the Snowdonia National Park are easily accessible. Beach 2 miles. Shop/P.O. 500 yards, pub 2 miles.

    Lovely cottage, very clean and welcoming. Everything we could need provided, even complimentary milk and bread etc. We were very comfortable and would happily stay again.

    Lovely cottage . Good for a relaxing break. Apart from play park which is very well kept there is very little else. However there are some very interesting walks and places to visit .

    suited our purpose for few days away during the whit week holidays, a clean and comfortable cottage central access to beaches and countryside, roads easy driving, to and from various locations. A relaxing and enjoyable few days in a pleasant enviroment.
