This is a lovely little cottage which feels homely as soon as you enter. It's furnished beautifully and very warm. The kitchen has all you need but if you feel lazy and you don't fancy cooking then the local pub serves traditional English food (and real ales for my liking). The cottage is in Silecroft which is a nice little quiet village not too far from the coast as well as being next to the Lakes. Me and my wife came here for our honeymoon as we wanted somewhere we could relax away from home and this cottage was perfect.

We had a lovely holiday at this delightful cottage. Even though it rained nearly all week it was lovely to come back here in the evenings. It is great to be within walking distance of both the beach and Black Combe mountain. The cottage is clean and cosy and had everything we needed.

We had a fabulous week at this cottage, thanks to the owner Helen who is one of the nicest people you could meet and the cottage its self is superbly well equiped with your every need catered for. It is also exceptionally clean, warm and comfortable. The village pub is a mere two minute walk away from the cottage and we met lots of really nice people there. The locals and the pub landlord were all really friendly and made us feel very welcome. We can't wait to go back to Cobblers Cottage.
