Superb location, comfortable and well-equipped - one of the most reliable Wi-Fi we’ve ever found in a cottage rental We were out of season so weren’t anticipating all local amenities to be open as they would be in summer season Thanks for a very enjoyable stay

We enjoyed our stay at Coastguard Cottage. It is a homely well equipped holiday let. There are a few amenities right on the doorstep including beach, mini golf, swimming pool, pub and shops. It is also close to the team for access to Blackpool, Cleveleys etc. Hence it's a good base. We were impressed by the facilities innthe kitchen. Everything you need plus dishwasher and washing machine ( although no dryer or washing line).. Also teabags, dishcloth, tea towel etc which were nice unexpected touches. Kitchen was in pretty good condition as was living room and bathroom. The general let down was the state or the decor notably upstairs. It is in need repainting as a number of walls were somewhat grubby to say the least. It appears that work has been done in some rooms but not throughout. The cottage was fairly clean but could do with a thorough once over occasionally ( count the cobwebs!) On the comfort front the mattresses on the double bed and single beds were most uncomfortable hence my marking down score of 6. Not sure what was wrong with vthe double but parts of it stuck in you. Could definetely benefit from a new one. Overall pretty good but needs a few quid spent updating the concerns mentioned.
