Fantastic cottage in a very peaceful remote location. Beautifully furnished and very cozy. We could happily have stayed forever. Nothing really around it unless you jump in the car, but that is exactly what we like. Would love to stay again.

After an incident at our original cottage, which Scottish Cottages sorted out straight away, Lee very kindly took us on as a last minute booking, he was lovely and welcoming, and the cottage was stunning. Coachmans is located in an ideal position for exploring the area, and the variety of birds in the garden was amazing, plus the red squirrels too! We would love to return as it felt like home as we walked through the door.

Lovely comfortable cottage with everything we needed including the wildlife. Ample parking and relaxing garden which was totally secure for our 2 dogs. Beach and coastline great for walking and exploring. Local store and shops in Dalbeattie ample for holiday needs.

A lovely property in a stunning part of the country. It was clean, comfortable and had a lovely, enclosed, private garden - just the thing for the dog. It had a decent sized telly as well - much better than those postage stamp sized ones you get in some properties! The beach really is only a few minutes away and there are many other walks straight from the door. There's a nice dog friendly pub only half a mile away as well. This place is perfect for those who like walking, wildlife and peace & quiet. So, why 9 instead of 10? Well, my wife missed having a washing machine. That's about the only downside - if you can call that a downside. We would go again though - despite the washing machine.
