Coach House Cottage (ref 30243) and Coach House Annexe (ref 30244) are located in the heart of the village of Yoxford, known as the garden of Suffolk because of the surrounding fruit farms and parkland. The semi-detached cottage sits by the detached annexe with a garden which leads down to the River Yox which, whilst normally very low can rise and flow quickly in wet conditions. The village is well served with a grocers, public houses and a couple of antique shops. Every August Yoxford has a highly regarded arts festival. Well-placed for the heritage coastal region, lying midway between Southwold and Aldeburgh. Nearest beach is Dunwich, 5 miles. Many walking opportunities abound with designated paths, as well as cycle routes with bike hire just 1½ miles away at Priory Farm, Darsham. Fishing is available nearby and there is a leisure centre with pool in nearby Leiston and good rail links from Darsham station, 1 mile. Also convenient for Snape Maltings and RSPB Minsmere. Both holiday properties can be booked together to accommodate up to 6 guests. Beach 5 miles. Shop, pub and restaurant 500 yards.

The atractive, shady garden was a winner in the exceptionally hot spell during our stay. Definitely would recommend it.

Very enjoyable holiday, comfortable accommodation, the cleaning could have been better. One problem, the kitchen sink tap was leaking around its base, kept flooding the drainer. Hope to return next year.
