Situated in the very heart of the popular coastal village of Beadnell nestles these renovated, cosy apartments, one on the first floor (W41674) and one on the ground floor (W41675). These well-presented holiday apartments sit in the heart of the popular, peaceful harbour village of Beadnell within a few minutes’ walk of golden sandy beaches and sand dunes. With this unspoilt, spectacular shoreline almost on the doorstep, it is a perfect retreat for nature lovers, walkers, cyclists, watersports enthusiasts and golfers. Close to the two popular hotels in the village it is an ideal location and an excellent base to explore the whole of this friendly county. The coastal footpath takes you to Alnmouth, a picture postcard village passing by Dunstanburgh Castle, with magnificent scenery along the route - voted one of the best walks in Britain. Bamburgh Castle is 3 miles to the north and dominates the skyline, while Alnwick with its majestic castle, fabulous water gardens and cobbled streets is only 10 miles away. Exciting boats trips to see the seals and seabirds on the Farne Islands can be taken from the friendly little village of Seahouses only one mile away. Here you will find seaside gift shops, famous fish and chips and seaside rock. The heritage coastline boasts more castles than any other stretch of coastline and sits in an AONB; many little villages nestle along the coast where fine food and dining is a must. Ideal location to explore all the North East area. Shops 100 yards, pub and restaurant 50 yards.

    Heating noton when i arrived.boiler not working, it was repaired next evening. no shower just a bath that needed cleaning

    Everything i needed for a peaceful few days with the dogs,no complaints at all,and fully appreciated the milk for a cuppa waiting in fridge

    Living area quite small it would have been very uncomfortable for 4 adults and dogs Bathroom floor dirty on day 2 as we had to use a towel to mop up after a problem with shower - it needs a shower curtain etc The towel was black !!!

    The cottage is in a fantastic location, easy access to lots of tourist areas and it was the perfect size. There were nice touches and we appreciated the pint of milk and tea and coffee waiting for us after a long drive. When we first walked in we were extremely happy with it, it was tidy and appeared clean. However after the first 10 minutes or so we realised that it was tidy but not as clean as you would expect. The floor had been hoovered or swept but not cleaned and we had the black feet to show for it after a walk around. The bathroom had a constant smell of cat urine, to the point of having to keep the bathroom door closed as the smell came into the bedrooms. I don't know if this is from the 100's of bats that are nesting in the out building attached to the property or something else. When I came home I decided to read some of the feedback from other people and saw in one response that they had scrapped the £15 fuel charges on top of your booking. This is not true as we were instructed to leave it on the table when we left. Overall it is a great place to stay it's just the cleanliness that really lets it down. I think that is a running theme given previous feedback. I'm not sure if I would come back to clover or book something else in the village as it is so nice.

    Response on behalf of the owner:- Thank you for your feedback, we have raised these issues with the cleaners as take the cleanliness of the apartment very seriously. We have stopped the electric charge, so anything left in the apartment indicating otherwise was in error.
