This pretty Victorian cottage stands attached to the owner’s 16th-century property, amidst the beautiful Yorkshire countryside. Visit the stately home of Castle Howard, and National Trust properties at Beningborough Hall, Fountains Abbey and Nunnington Hall. The ancient walled city of York is just 16 miles away, packed with attractions and steeped in history, with an amazing variety of museums, theatres and art galleries. Easily accessible are the North Yorkshire Moors and the Yorkshire Dales, whilst the coastal resorts of Whitby, Scarborough and Filey are within an hour’s drive. Shop 3 miles, pub and restaurant 2½ miles.
