This flat is very nice and once you have scaled the steep stairs to the bedrooms there is a small sea view. It's very tired and would benefit from some colour. It was clean when we arrived. The radiator in the bathroom does bot work properly, water poured in the kitchen window when It rained. The dishwasher was not very clean. There was no toilet roll ,not even a half roll, in the loo after a long journey. The toilet seat was wonky and had been reported previously but not repaired. The shower would benefit from a wiper blade for the glass. Lots of nice clean towels and bedding. Definitely needs a wi fi booster. Parts of it very dated. Would not stay again because I never go anywhere twice. Our week was blessed with 5 of 7 days of great weather.

Response on behalf of the Owner; Dear Jeanette, Thank you for your review. I was sorry to hear that there were some issues with your stay. There should have been at least 1 full toilet roll left for you, and issues reported previously should have been addressed prior to your arrival. We have a new housekeeping / maintenance team on board now and we will be redecorating throughout this year to keep the property up to date. Thank you for bringing these issues to our attention so that we can make the necessary improvements for our future guests. Kate.

We stayed at Cliff End House as a family of three with a 22 month old. The property is spacious and well equipped with all the amenities we needed, including tea, coffee and sugar. It was lovely to be welcomed with a pint of milk and custard creams. We had an issue with the travel cot on arrival but within 30mins of us leaving a message, the property agent text to advise they would arrange for a new one to be delivered so excellent customer service. I was slightly worried about the number of reviews on the leaking shower but I’m pleased to say it’s been fixed and it’s much larger than in the photo! Probably one of the best showers! The parking for the property is on a shared driveway. We had an estate and as long as we parked close to the garage on the left it was fine for the neighbor to get in&out. The master bedroom was very spacious and has a very large comfortable bed.

We arrived to a very clean and tidy Cliff End House with all the facilities as advertised. Parking is fine but you do have to pull up very close to the garage door so that the neighbour can access his garage. Might be an issue with a large SUV or long estate vehicle, but no problem for us. A short walk to the high street with a local Co-op open until 11pm, with a Co-op supermarket just another 5 mins walk. Very easy access to the cliff top with wonderful views. Bedrooms large and airy - perhaps curtains as well as shutters for the summertime? Main double very comfortable. Bunk bed in 2nd bedroom a bit rickety and previous visits have commented on this for a while in the visitors book. Lots to do within 30 min drive. Overall, a lovely stay. Would definitely return.

Location was great. A little space to sit outside would be perfect.
