There is so much to do and see in the area, including many festivals such as the West Waterford Festival of Food, Spraoi and the Comeragh Challenge and, for golf enthusiasts, the Dungarvan Golf Triangle. This is a perfectly functional holiday cottage, in a super rural location. As a three star cottage it is very much no-frills, but a perfect base to tour the sunny south east. Highlights - very secluded, beautiful scenery, plenty of space for the kids to run around outside, good washer and WiFi. Unfortunately, we were disappointed by the overall level of cleanliness - all of which could have been easily sorted with a bit more attention to detail (eg the kitchen window and splashbacks needed cleaning, as it was they were a magnet for flies, there were several pretty obvious large piles of dog/cat poo in the garden grass which we had to remove before allowing the kids to play outside, and the towels (and some of the bedding) were old, thin and tatty, not of the standard we would expect from a holiday let - and we would rather have brought my own. All of that said, this is a good option for a budget stay in this part of the world. And we thoroughly enjoyed exploring this part of Ireland.

It was a really nice stay for our Group of 4 People. It was really quiet and relaxing, it was easy to find and we could reach a lot of Sightseeing spot with our rental car. Overall we loved our stay Not just at the cottage but in ireland overall! We are definitly planning on coming back.
