We had a marvellous 4 nights in Cilgwyn! The view was incredible, we could watch the sun go down over Portmeirion each evening, however you will have to share the view with the most cubby squirrels you have ever seen! The owner is the absolute best, caring but not at all intrusive. A perfect base for hiking, historical sites and climbing. Close to shops and 10 minutes from a tesco petrol station, so no worries there. We loved our stay and wouldn't hesitate to recommend this cottage.

Fantastic views from a very well equipped and beautifully decorated flat. Location just off the fairly busy road and no paths to nearest village means a car is essential, but it’s a great place to stay and explore the area.

This lovely cottage was very warm, comfortable and nicely decorated, with a beautiful view over the water to Portmeirion. An ideal base for touring Snowdonia. Mrs Edwards was very friendly and indeed had great knowledge of Snowdonia and the local area. Local shopping at nearby Penrhyndeudraeth.
