Fabulous property in a remote location! It is a perfect example of a barn conversion done correctly. The bathroom is a bathroom of dreams, great shower, bath and sauna. Location is ideal for a quiet get away from the city but there is very little within walking distance, shops, pubs etc. There are a few things we recommend to improve the cottage though. The large circle hot tub pictured is not he one that is at the property. The wifi data plan had been used up by previous guests and the owner expected us to pay to top it up. We didn't receive the dark towels or dressing gowns to use for the hot tub. The hot tub cover had broken so it kept blowing off meaning it took a long time to heat up meaning we couldn't use it for the first 24hours of our stay. We had to use blocks of wood to keep it secure. The bed is incredibly noisy, rolling over in the night would cause a racket.

The cottage was in the middle of no where. The closest shop was 6 miles Away. It wasn't very clean the shower was blocked so couldn't be used. The hot tub smelled funny like the water hadn't been changed for ages. The WiFi only worked for 2 days. The bed was so uncomfortable it squeezed every time you moved.

We actually stayed in Bumblebee cottage in the end, but the whole of Church View Retreat is excellent.
