It is independently styled and blends together thoughtful interior design with period and architectural features. With three individually designed bedrooms, a sitting room and a living room with comfortable sofas to relax on, this cottage will definitely not disappoint. Outside, the courtyard garden is the ideal place to relax and enjoy a spot of al fresco dining.

Lovely house and very clean ! Very homely everything you need! Shame about the parking ... we had to park two streets away. And the church bells are loud and they kept the children awake but after a couple of days we got used to them. Overall a lovely place to stay everything you need in walking distance and a bus that takes you into Matlock if you need it.

    Response from:

Response on behalf of the Owner; Dear Duane, thank you for taking the trouble to write your review, which is much appreciated. Given Church House is tucked into the heart of the Heritage area, parking can sometimes be a bit of a challenge on a random basis and I hope this didn’t spoil your stay. I’m glad you eventually got used to the Church bells. Thank you again and we hope to welcome you again. With best wishes Nikki and Michael.
