We had a lovely, friendly and informative welcome from Paula. The cottage proved to be relaxing, cosy and a perfect size for our party of 3 people. Some might find notices about family heirlooms to be a little daunting. Others will appreciate their need. Some kitchen equipment could be more suitable for use in the microwave, but much depends on someone's style of cooking. The lack of a downstairs toilet may be a restriction for some. The countryside is very appealing and the cottage is well placed to explore the Potteries, North Shropshire, South Cheshire and Dovedale and the Manifold and Churnet Valleys. Overall, this is a lovely, cared for cottage with many appealing features which make for a great break in North Staffordshire, a most underrated part of the country. The admin of booking, confirmation and preparation for the visit were most efficient and trouble free.

Our fourth visit to Chorlton Moss Cottage and hopefully not our last . Just a great wee home in a beautiful part of the country with so many things to do and see in close reach. Highly recommend a visit to Trentham Gardens and Monkey Forest as well as having Alton Towers under an hour away. Cottage has everything you need and the owners have made sure you have everything you need for a great stay.

A lovely cottage that is in a quiet part of Staffordshire. The cottage itself was perfect for our needs, there was a large garden and there were lots of toys and games for the children.
