Pets are welcome at this converted 18th century mill which retains wooden flooring and exposed beams, within walking distance of the village green.

With its original machinery on view through an internal window, this fine conversion of part of an 18th-century mill has been charmingly furnished with some period and antique furniture, and enjoys a village setting within walking distance of the green, children’s play area and inn. Part of the mill is occupied by the owner’s art studio, and a public footpath runs along part of the driveway. The train station, ¼ mile, has direct access to Weymouth, Bath and Bristol. Yeovil (with swimming-pool) 7 miles, and the beach at Burton Bradstock is half an hour’s drive. Award winning pub 400 yards.

Living/dining room with large inglenook fireplace, rugs on wooden floor and modern kitchen area. Three easy steps to bathroom with toilet. Double bedroom with doors to patio. First floor: Two pretty bedrooms; one twin and one single, both with sloping ceiling. Bathroom with over-bath shower and toilet.

A lovely building with great character. Very nice & helpful owners living close by. Only problem was, it's a bit dark & there could be more cooking pans. ie wok or frying pan.

This was a lovely character converted Mill in a pretty and peaceful village. There is a local Inn just a short walk away which we visited every day where they serve delicious food so no need to venture far if you don’t want to. Locals were friendly and there are many places of interest to visit within a short drive.

Had a fabulous week. Great find and if we wanted to be anywhere around there again I would definitely stay again. Excellent for our dog and even made friends with the 5pm group on the park for canine fun!!!

Beautiful mill conversion containing many of the original features. Two separate accommodation areas, great for families. Small patio garden which is a good sun trap with nice seating. Pet friendly. The owners are a charming couple who are most helpful and not intrusive. We would heartily recommend the Mill for a couple or family. Thank you.
