Had a lovely week with friends shame hot tub did not work but was compensated for it

    Response from:

Response on behalf of the Owner; Glad you enjoyed the cottage. Again we can only apologise for the failure of the hot tub but as you know we tried everything to get it repaired for you, unfortunately it is now beyond repair and is being removed from service. We no longer have a hot tub at the property for use.

Great place - 3 friends and I along with our combined 3 dogs went for a break. Hot tub was an awesome place to relax. Garden large and secure to allow dogs to wander as they will whilst we chilled out and the inside is spacious with an amazing entertainment system. Only criticism would be that the chandeliers in some of the rooms were a bit too low especially as three out of four of us were six foot plus. Great plus is that Europes biggest beer shop is located very close by and had several visits from us during the week.

    Response from:

Response on behalf of the Owner; Thank you for your positive comments, I apologise for the low lights and will consider changing them. Glad you liked everything else though and that you enjoyed your beers.

The house was lovely & clean and fairly well equipped, but felt the beds were uncomfortable and missed a TV in the bedroom. Required larger saucepans in kitchen when cooking for 8 people and just felt house needed updating in certain areas. Hot tub was great to come back too, after a days exploring.

    Response from:

Response on behalf of the Owner; We are really sorry to hear that the beds were uncomfortable for you. You made comment about some of the property was in need of upgrading, once again I apologise for this. Your opinions have been duly noted and we will address them. I would like to thank you for the time you have spent on bringing them to our attention.

The house itself was stunning, very clean, had everything you possibly need and very modern. The kids loved the huge telly, it was like being at the cinema. Hot tub was lovely. I was contacted on the morning of departure to say the master en-suite was broken and couldn't be used, but there was still a bathroom in the other bedroom and a bathroom downstairs so it wasn't really a problem for us but maybe for a party of couples they wouldn't want to be sharing bathrooms. It is a village so expect to travel for shops, we got there around 6 o'clock and the village chip shop was closed and the local take aways wanted £15 for delivering!! Plenty of places to visit but have to travel to get to them. Don't know what the public transport is like but I would presume most people staying here would have a car. Overall it was a beautiful bungalow and would stay here again if we wanted this area.

Response on behalf of the owner; Thanks for taking the time to give us some feedback. Toilet in master bedroom now fixed. Fantastic that it didn't upset the holiday.
