Delightful little cottage. Spotlessly clean and tastefully furnished. Kitchen area ample, and fully equipped with crockery, plates and cutlery. A generous welcome pack for both two legged and four legged guests. Beds comfortable and bathroom making the most of the space available. Location ideal for exploring the glorious Northumberland coastline. The Cottage Inn some thirty paces away is well worth a visit for both food and drink. No hesitation in recommending Cherry Cottage to anybody considering it as a place to stay.

Parking not particularly good as too many cars for spaces. Very uncomfortable long seated (front to back) sofa. TV too high on the wall. Tin can opener old design cutting the lid off (the side not the top of) the can leaving a sharp edge. Apart from this the cottage was incredibly well fitted out with kitchen and dining equipment, how to use instructions etc.

"Small but perfectly formed" probably sums it up best. Very comfortably and welcoming. Clearly, a lot of thought has gone into providing everything required for a pleasant stay. Perfectly situated for exploring the beautiful Northumbria coast, helped considerably by the wealth of literature in the cottage. A very generous welcome package was also much appreciated. My one caution would concern the parking - this comprises an off-road area which holds 5 cars at most, and which is often full, leaving no option but to park on the road, which is a bus route.
