Lovely little cottage, close to local amenities and only a short car journey to the beach and other attractions. The cottage was clean, tidy and in good order. The small hamper on arrival was a lovely gesture. I personally would not consider the cottage particularly family friendly and it may prove useful for potential guests with younger children to to take note of the following: 1) The cottage is small, particularly the downstairs space. As 2 adults and 2 young children we did feel cramped at times. 2) The stairs are steep and shallow, and the only bathroom is downstairs. Trips to the bathroom at night especially for young children are hazardous.

Very quiet location, lovely village feel. The cottage had everything we needed and was easily accessible. We were lucky with the parking and only had to use the permit once and even then it was only a 5 minute walk back to the house. Very close to Sandown and big Tesco's which was very handy. The stairs were rather narrow and could do with being a lighter colour but we got used to them. However, overall a pleasant stay and a good break!
