The Tunnels beaches are interesting with a large natural sea pool which is fabulous for open sea swimming surrounded by the glorious, rugged cliffs although sheltered for children with buckets and spades and jumping in the waves is also only a short walk away. In fact, it would be extremely easy to leave the car as there is a lot on offer at your doorstep. There is diving, and other water sport activities. There are boat trips to Lundy Island, sea cruises of the exhilarating North Devon coastline, deep sea fishing and sea life safaris to see seals, porpoises and various sea birds. Walk the coast path from Capstone to Lee, Morthoe and Woolacombe. Lots of pubs along the way so you can get a bus on the return!
