This delightful lodge is set on a working farm, amidst wonderful countryside, yet only 4 miles from the beach.

Chale Farm Lodge is located in an idyllic farm setting, within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, boasting amazing countryside views, backed by St. Catherine’s Down. The lodge has its own private enclosed garden and provides the perfect retreat to explore and discover the breathtaking surrounding countryside.
With one of the islands best pubs located within walking distance and serving excellent cuisine and the local village shop with a delicatessen, café and post office being only a mile away, you really do have everything on your doorstep. For families, Blackgang Chine Theme Park is just 5 minutes away, and slightly further away, only 6 miles, you can find the seaside town of Ventnor with its selection of boutiques, pubs, restaurants and a beautiful sand and shingle beach. Fresh fish can be purchased from the harbour as it arrives daily off the boats. In the other direction, you can access the beach at Brighstone or continue on to enjoy all that the west of the island has to offer, with The Needles and Alum Bay.
Whether you are an outdoor enthusiast wishing to explore all the walks and cycle routes, surfing and golf or whether you wish to just relax and unwind in the tranquillity of the area, this property offers it all. Beach 4 miles. Shop 1 mile, pub and restaurant 500 yards.

    Lovely cottage in a quiet area. The children loved watching the comings and goings on the farm. Having an enclosed garden allowed them to play outside without us having to worry. The cottage was spacious, clean and modern. Nothing was more than a 30 minute drive away which meant there was lots for us to do. Great pub within walking distance. The only downside would be the steep slope from the decking and the gap under the house from which we fished out a number of toys and even children during our stay, which could be easily rectified and didn't spoil our holiday. Owners friendly and helpful.

    Wonderful family farm location, clean and comfortable cottage. Highly recommend. We will be visiting again.
