Contemporary ground floor apartment for two, with panoramic views over Cardigan Bay, mountain biking and walking close by.

Commanding spectacular views over Cardigan Bay, these four holiday properties enjoy an elevated position nestled beside a mountain stream, accessed by a steep shared drive. Woodland Roost (ref WN72) is a detached hideaway located within a woodland garden and Cedar Rest (ref WN82) and Coastal Retreat (ref 28519) are delightful wings of the owners’ 16th-century hillside farmhouse. Ceilwart Cottage (ref WN73) is situated in a beautiful, terraced garden with patio, BBQ and patio furniture, and has strong green credentials with its solar panels for hot water, a ground source heat pump for the comfortable central heating and cosy sheep’s’ wool insulation, not forgetting the triple glazed windows and the UV filtered natural spring water. They all overlook the owners’ field, and are only a mile away from the town of Barmouth, with its choice of shops, cafés, pubs and restaurants. A steep walk across the road takes you to the promenade and a beautiful sandy beach. Close by are all the amenities of the Snowdonia National Park, Harlech with its castle and golf course, Portmeirion, and steam trains run from Porthmadog. They are secluded but not isolated, with horse riding, fishing and mountain bike centres within an easy drive. Beach 1¼ miles. Shops, pubs and restaurants 1 mile.

Fantastic location but cottage was very dirty kitchen was dirty and the bathroom was dirty and smelled of urine

    Response from:

Response on behalf of the Owner; In regards to the Comfort and Equipment, the property is inspected and meets the regulation standard for a 3* property. If the issue with the cleaning and smells was so bad then the matter should have been brought to our attention and could have been dealt with at the time.

Great little place for a weekend getaway. Fantastic location to explore Snowdonia. Very nice owner living just next door. The kitchen is well equipped but do not forget to bring your own tea, coffee, milk, sugar, salt, pepper, oil, toilet paper, kitchen towel, etc.

    Response from:

Response on behalf of the owner; Thank you for your comments. I hope you enjoyed your weekend away. The things you mentioned are usually only provided in catered accommodation although we always provide toilet roll for our guests.
