Woodland Roost (ref WN72) is a detached hideaway located within a woodland garden and Cedar Rest (ref WN82) and Coastal Retreat (ref 28519) are delightful wings of the owners’ 16th-century hillside farmhouse. Ceilwart Cottage (ref WN73) is situated in a beautiful, terraced garden with patio, BBQ and patio furniture, and has strong green credentials with its solar panels for hot water, a ground source heat pump for the comfortable central heating and cosy sheeps’ wool insulation, not forgetting the triple glazed windows and the UV filtered natural spring water. They all overlook the owners’ field, and are only a mile away from the town of Barmouth, with its choice of shops, cafés, pubs and restaurants. A steep walk across the road takes you to the promenade and a beautiful sandy beach. Close by are all the amenities of the Snowdonia National Park, Harlech with its castle and golf course, Portmeirion, and steam trains run from Porthmadog. Couldn't have asked for more. Spacious and comfy. Adding the conservatory was inspired, to look out on colder days.

My husband and I had great holiday and we loved the cottage. Plenty of space, lovely view, comfortable, nice and quiet. The heating was on and it was cozy and warm every time we got back. That was our first time visiting Wales and Snowdonia and we hope to visit again maybe next time during the summer and it would be great to stay in Cedar Rest again. We definitely recommend the place as amazing value for the price. Thank you :)

The position of the cottage was great but the main thing that let it down was the lounge furniture. It was old and very uncomfortable and after a days walking you really don't want to come home to discomfort. Also, although the kitchen was adequate, the oven was not very clean and the equipment very sparse, all such a shame when the position and views from the patio were so fantastic. We would rather pay a bit more and have more comfort.
