We stayed over Christmas & New Year, the cottage exceeded our expectations, equipped with everything you could possibly need. The location was perfect for us and our two dogs, just outside the village it was very peaceful but only a 10 min walk to the harbour. Definitely one to return to and recommend to others.

We're a pair of 70ish young disabled folk. We love peace and quiet and enjoying local interests wherever we stay. Comfort is a concern for us when booking accommodation. This bungalow was superb. We didn't need for anything. Carolyn and Martin welcomed us with (and this was a bonus for us) their dogs. A platter of food awaited us in the fridge, along with liquid nourishment! Loverly! The beds were almost too comfy. The kitchen, as clean as the whistle, has just about every gadget available. ( Except for a decent spud peeler) The heating is sublime to the point that we had to reduce the settings a bit. If I'd had a dog it would have been perfect for the pooch. We managed to mooch about locally, and ventured further to the Welsh Highland railway which was a special experience. Holyhead is a town worth a visit. Be open to the friendliness of the locals. It's got to be the friendliest place I've ever been. Best of all. Let Cefn Helyg Bach be your place to stay. I can't give it enough brownie pointss.
