We were surprised to find that the third bedroom in this cottage does not have a window, we would not have booked it if we had been aware of this. The cottage is clean and comfortable and we had a good holiday. It is well placed for visiting local attractions in Wiltshire. The owners were lovely and very helpful. We did find the living accommodation very dark and needed to use the lights most of the time we were there. may be better In bright sunshine as we did have a lot of rain. The garden area near the house has a pergola covered with a lot of foliage and not much natural light reaches the living room. The kitchen requires the use of lighting at all times. The accommodation is spacious and the equipment is quite good, wondered about 3 cake slices but only one saucepan. Lots of ornaments and glass bowls etc but no clear surfaces to put things on. A granny annexe with quite a lot of grannies knick knacks still there.

We had a really comfortable stay, and the house was equipped with everything we needed for a great long weekend with a group of friends. Walking into central Devizes was easy and a real pleasure along the canal side. Highly recommended!

A beautiful holiday home, spacious and comfortable, everything we could want and more. Lots of basics provided meaning no need to bring them such as salt and pepper, cooking oil, basic cleaning materials and lovely cosy towels. Really enjoyed our stay with two teenagers who appreciated the wifi! Would recommend this venue to families or groups for a short or longer break it was lovely.
