Caton Prideaux was the perfect place for us to stay while on vacation in Eastbourne. The location couldn't have been better! A 10 minute walk to the Lamb Inn, a cozy pub with lots of history and good food/drinks! Right next to the pub is Waitrose, an ideal size grocery store for all your needs (food, deli and alcoholic beverages!) As we stayed at the Prideaux for a week, we frequented both places! Also found a cute little coffee shop (Old Town Coffee) behind Waitrose. And Gildredge Park across the street was lovely. Also, only a short (15min) walk downtown and maybe 20 minutes to the seafront. The train station also only 15 minutes away. Plus there were many buses on our street - going to Brighton, etc. The flat was super clean and spacious with lots of windows/light as it was the top floor (2nd floor in Britain!) We had to do lots of steps to get up to the top, but it was worth it and certainly got easier as we did the climb more often!!! All our questions, etc were addressed by the gracious owner. We would absolutely stay there again and infect, are thinking about our next trip!!

Top floor two bed apartment, one bed with en-suite, very clean, extremely spacious. Fantastic location for walk to town, hardly used car. Mattresses a little soft for me, but kids slept well. Plentiful piping hot water, towels and bedding. Owner either needs to relax about parking spaces or mark them with flat numbers. We were not told which one was allocated to top flat until I'd been asked to move car twice. Shouldn't matter where each flat parks IMO. Overall very nice accommodation.
