This typical stone cottage, dating back to 1600, enjoys a private outdoor swimming pool and panoramic views over the Calanchi Valley, famous for its lunar landscapes. Deep in the green countryside, the property features a well-kept garden with a shaded veranda equipped with garden furniture and a barbecue for pleasant al fresco dining. In this idyllic setting, it is the ideal accommodation for a wonderful relaxing break away. There are many places of interest to visit close by including Civita di Bagnoregio, 10km, one of Italy’s most beautiful hamlets, or Orvieto with its majestic cathedral, 30km. Enjoy a relaxing day at Lake Bolsena with its shallow waters and fine sand beaches, or explore Todi, a beautiful ancient medieval town. Rome, 120km, can be easily reached by car on the A1 highway, or to avoid the city traffic, take the train from nearby Orvieto Scalo. Throughout summer, the area hosts many local festivals and various celebrations where visitors can taste traditional delicacies and wine. The cottage is spread over the ground and first floor, connected only by an external staircase. Shop and restaurant 9.6km.
