This stunning apartment was fully refurbished in 2019 and offers a welcoming feel with a touch of class and excellent interior design throughout. Situated on the second floor of a large town house development, Carlton3 benefits from an elevated position meaning you get fantastic views to one of the most iconic fells in the region, Skiddaw. Located in a quiet area in the heart of Keswick, you are only 200 yards from the start of this exciting town with an abundance of restaurants, shops, bars and great walks. You can leave your car behind in the private car park and explore this tourist hotspot on foot.

Up to four adults can enjoy two well-appointed bedrooms, a double and a twin, with quality beds and solid furnishings throughout, plenty of storage, a TV and Alexa in each. Carlton3 also features a modern bathroom and fully-equipped kitchen. The open plan living room, with a cosy, flame-effect fire and large windows, is flooded with plenty of natural light, and features a 49" Smart TV with complimentary Netflix as well as a touchscreen Amazon Echo for all your entertainment needs. The dining area has a dining table and chairs. Guest comfort is high on the list of priorities and the quality of furnishings, deep carpets and attention to detail is evident as soon as you walk in.

Keswick is a vibrant Lakeland town with a great outdoor market and plenty of places to eat and drink. Its bustling centre has an abundance of quality independent restaurants, pubs serving local cask ales, eclectic shops and the obligatory outdoor and fashion brands, as well as plenty of deli’s, bakeries, coffee shops and local craft stalls. Famous for its narrow streets and courtyards, this traditional market town is one not to be missed. The iconic Theatre by the Lake is only ½ mile, with award-winning arts and drama set on the beautiful banks of Derwentwater. Unfortunately the apartment did not seem to have been cleaned very well at all the glass topped tables in the living room were covered in dust and there was false tan residue in the bottom of the bath overall there wasn't much evidence of much cleaning having been done. This is the second time we have had issues with the cleanliness in this apartment so unfortunately will not be using cumbrian cottages again which is a shame as we have used them for many years.

This is the second time we have stayed here. Location is excellent with the benefit of a private parking space. Beds are really comfortable. However we thought the cleanliness of the apartment could have been a little better. There were several cobwebs around the coving in all rooms. There was also a black mark on one of the pillows in the twin room. It looked like it had been used. It would have also been nice if there were some decent size pasta bowls in the kitchen.A minor thing I know. However, I must compliment the letting agency. When we returned to the apartment one day the carbon monoxide alarm was making a noise. A maintenance man was sent out within 30 mins and replaced the sealed unit. Excellent response. All that being said I would definitely stay there again.
