We had a lovely stay in Carleton cottage, and found it a great place to return to after a busy day out and about. The lounge was comfortable and the bedroom was quite spacious and had a comfortable bed. The kitchen and bathroom were adequate for our needs. The kitchen doesn’t have a lot of work space but it was clean as were the appliances. The shower over the bath worked well and there was always plenty of hot water. Parking on the church car park is a bonus, although having entered at the front of the property we struggled to find the car park pass which was near the back door. Being a flat there is some noise from the people coming and going upstairs but we didn’t find that a problem. The accommodation doesn’t have lovely views that you might get from other properties, but is in a good location for the town.
