The ground floor bedroom is fitted with a Guldmann H-frame ceiling tracking hoist. There is also one profiling bed in the downstairs bedroom with pressure relief airflow mattress. It also has a large wet room on the ground floor which benefits from a ceiling tracking hoist and a Clos-o-Mat toilet. In addition to the fixed equipment there are a wide range of portable specialist equipment available free of charge on request, including a shower trolley, portable hoist, Freeway shower chair/commode (assisted/unassisted), Oxford electric stand aid and assisted and manual wheelchairs. The dining area opens out to a south-facing garden with splendid sea views.
Sitting alongside the lodge is the Paxton Centre, a community hub and drop in centre for use by both the guests of the Homelands lodges and the local community.
