A carefully curated collection of properties that offer high quality, good value accommodation in great locations across the UK, Ireland, France and Italy

Boasting a large roof terrace, and a well thought out interior, this holiday home provides the ideal base for guests looking to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

Camellia Cottage, once part of a country hotel, is an ideal holiday home for families or couples seeking somewhere to relax and get away from it all, yet be in an ideal location to explore an area referred to as the Cornish Riviera. This semi-detached property, in the grounds of the owners’ home, has a large roof terrace that is accessed from the lounge, and provides the perfect spot to relax whilst overlooking the green fields that surround the cottage.
If you can draw yourself away from this idyllic spot then the area is rich and diverse in tourist attractions, both natural and manmade. The area has some beautiful sandy beaches in pretty coves, which are backed by pretty cliffs, providing the perfect family day out.
With cliff walking, kayaking along the River Fowey, sailing and sea-fishing from one of the many fishing villages close by, Camellia Cottage really is in the ideal location to enjoy all that Cornwall has to offer.
Caerhays Castle, and Porthluney Beach, are two beautiful little beaches that provide the perfect place for a moonlit stroll, or somewhere to practice building sandcastles with your little ones. A similar distance away will bring you to the world famous Lost Gardens of Helligan, the quaint fishing port of Mevagissey and the Georgian Port of Charlestown (with its resident tall ships). Further afield is the Eden Project, the capital city of Truro, St Mawes and the surfing beaches of Newquay.
The south Cornwall coast is home to many National Trust houses and gardens, which provide superb days out for all. Golf, horse riding, cycle hire and off road trails for walking and riding are all available close by. Beach 4 miles. Shop 1¾ miles, pub and restaurant ¾ mile.

We had a lovely stay at Camellia and the owners were incredibly polite, helpful and welcoming. The mobile phone reception was non-existant for EE users, which is quite common in most rural cottages. Would stay again.

Lovely little cottage in a rural picturesque location. Our hosts were extremely welcoming and advised us of some great little beaches close by that we could visit. The cottage itself is beautifully decorated and plenty of space for small families plus secure space for the dog to sit outside. Whilst it is a little off the beaten track to get to nearby convenience stores, it makes for a quiet serene atmosphere when coming home after a day exploring Cornwall. I would definitely recommend to anyone looking at wanting to visit Cornwall.

A beautiful cottage in an idyllic location. The decor was really up to date and tasteful and thee balcony, which overlooks the surrounding countryside was a real bonus. We received a fantastic welcome by owners, Darren and Ayshea, including tea, coffee, milk, bread and biscuits (Cornish fairings) and nothing was too much trouble for them throughout our stay. There was plenty of parking space and the bike shelter also came in really handy for us. We would thoroughly recommend Camellia Cottage!
