Historic Yarmouth is worthy of a visit, and the island can be easily explored from the open-top buses that stop regularly at various collection points across the island. It’s a lovely spot, away from local towns, so not many amenities. So that can be seen as a good thing. The cottage is comfortable but needed some attention at the end of the season. There is no WiFi as advertised, and you need to bring essential supplies such as soap and toilet paper. The local wildlife (peacocks) are entertaining and there are lots of things to do nearby. We avoided the cafe at the attached watermill museum as it was (in our opinion) expensive. The cottages are some distance from the watermill, so nice and quiet as well as private if you want to get away from it all. The parking is close by. A short drive to lovely beaches or to larger towns.

Loved it ! We were made very welcome, even had an afternoon tea, crazy golf and rowing boats/pedalos included with the lodge! Would definitely book again - only wish we could have brought our dog.

Very comfortable accommodation and generally well equipped. Owners very friendly and helpful. Really enjoyed being able to explore the mill grounds and the museums and use the adventure golf and pedaloes at no charge after hours. Great location for the Needles, Yarmouth, Cowes etc. Only points to note - there is no wifi in the cottages and the curtains are very thin so consider taking travel black outs or eye masks if you want a lie-in!
