What we appreciated the most was the peace and tranquility of this place. The cottage was supper clean and the bedding was perfect. We loved the fact that Tony and Pearl had two horses because my daughter who is not very well, benefited greatly from interacting with one of the horses whose’s stable was not too far from the cottage. We have been for relaxing walks at the back of the cottage and encountered a couple of deer and a fox and rabbits. We walked further and we found a tiny wooden bridge which we crossed. We had a fantastic surprise when we came across a beautiful pond with water lilies and all kinds of dragon flies some with colours we had never seen. A local told us that this pond had been there for 700years. We visited the local Church of Saint Mary’s in Denton and it is a truly beautiful church.
