This is a lovely traditional cottage with bags of character set in a really peaceful location, ideal for a restful retreat.

Ground Floor: Living room: With multi-fuel burner and Freeview TV.Kitchen/dining room: With electric cooker, fridge, freezer and washing machine.Bedroom 1: With double bed.Bathroom: With shower over bath, toilet and heated towel rail.
First Floor: Bedroom 2: With ¾ double bed (for one).Bedroom 3: With twin beds.
Electric heating (£50 per week, £30 per short break Nov-Easter), electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. Initial fuel for multi-fuel burner included. Travel cot, highchair and stairgate. Welcome pack.

A twitcher’s paradise, there are many species of birds to be found as well as other wildlife in the area. Although remote, the cottage is just 7 miles from Aboyne where there is a good selection of shops and eateries.In the heart of Royal Deeside you can easily explore the many towns and villages on the Victorian Heritage Trail. This is Castle Country and there are many worth a visit, including Balmoral, whose grounds are open to visitors from April to end of July each year. The beautiful River Dee is just a few yards beyond, where good fishing can be enjoyed. The ski slopes at the Lecht and Cairngorms can be easily reached and these area also offer plenty of good hill walking. Golf courses abound and some good day trips would include Crathes Castle, Balmoral and the Cambus O’ May forest walks. Shop, pub and restaurant 3 miles.
