There were no will go as specified, the bed were so uncomfortable we left a day early, the door kept sticking so we had to use side door. Paddock was good for our dog. Kitchen were fully equipped although cupboards were broken

    Response from:

Response on behalf of the Owner; I feel this is an unfair comment, the internet was working, but as per the description, we are in a rural location and your internet connectivity is not consistent, as per description. The property doors and windows are all wood so are subject to swelling with excessive rain. A beds comfort ability is subjective. The barn is priced accordingly. We are happy that Burmington Barn receives many positive reviews that give a truer reflection.

Had a restful long weekend with our doggie at Burmington Barn as a base to visit Bourton in the Water, Batsford Arbouretum, Chipping Campden and Cotswold walks. Had fabulous meals out at Ebrington Arms, Red Lion at Long Compton and Churchill Arms at Paxford (all dog friendly). The cottage was stylish, warm and comfortable. The owner welcomed us on arrival with wine, cake and doggie treats and showed us the bonus of a fenced off dog exercise area and gave us some milk as the nearest shop was in Shipston. Excellent Tv and lots of local information leaflets etc. Really enjoyed our stay and would recommend.

The dog loved it, as did we and it was a great location to visit places of interest in the Cotswolds and Stratford on Avon.

A very comfortable cottage and extremely dog friendly which suited us. The location was ideal as we were visiting my sister who lives nearby.

Lovely comfortable cottage ideally situated to explore the Cotswolds. The paddock was a real plus to exercise dog. Chocolate cake and wine really nice gesture which was very much enjoyed and appreciated.

Fantastic short break away with our 2 dogs. Extremely well designed/equipped accommodation in a great location, absolutely perfect for a couple with dogs to explore the northern Cotswolds. Completely secure patio and exercise paddock a real bonus! This was our second visit and we'll definitely be back!

Once upon a time Burmington Barn was probably a stunning property but it now needs a overhaul. Furniture was shabby and crockery needed replacing. Nowhere to hang towels in bathroom and no soap provided as we have always had elsewhere. Wine was a nice gesture but we don't drink so milk and tea would have been more appropriate. Oven needed a clean and so did the washing machine dispenser. At least 10 light bulbs needed replacing. Had to go out and buy a washing line and pegs as there were none provided.

    Response from:

Response on behalf of the Owner; There is a clothes horse provided. There is a towel rail in the bathroom and a hook on the bathroom door. The welcome pack is provided at my own expense and proves popular with the majority of visitors.

Nice location, just near enough to the Cotswold without being crowded. Bourton on the Water is worth a visit, but arrive early especially at the weekends!!! Barn could do with a few more items such as a coffee table to put cups on in the main living area. Salt & Pepper set would have been welcome, and the welcome pack would have been better if it had consisted of essentials such as Milk, Tea, Coffee and Sugar, rather than the Wine and Cake!!.

We enjoyed our stay at Bumington Barn. A very peaceful location with lots of places to visit in the vicinity. It was comfortable and quite adequate for a weekend away

Burmington Barn was comfortable and well-equipped, and very spacious for a one-bedroom place. The bathroom was very big with excellent shower & bath. What we liked best about the place was the paddock which was reserved for us to use to exercise our dog. We took our border collie there every day to play ball. The owner was very friendly and made us feel welcome.
