Thank you for an amazing time at Burgess House. Cannot recommend it enough. Came for a weekend away for my birthday with family and friends & we all had the best time. The house is absolutely gorgeous in the most beautiful setting, the garden is huge! Owner could not have been more helpful and we were greeted with a lovely welcome with a home baked cake, milk and local Apple juice. Thank you for such a wonderful weekend, will definitely be coming back.

Burgess house was the perfect location for seeing in 2019. It had an abundance of space and was beautifully presented throughout. We loved that it was nestled away at the end of a long private driveway, giving it a secluded/ remote feeling despite being close enough to local amenities such as the pub! Our host, Bridget, was friendly and accommodating, providing a seamless 5* experience. I'd highly recommend to family/ friends and would choose to stay again in a heartbeat.

We stayed at Burgess house 7th-10 December celebrating Xmas as a family a bit early as we do every year. I explained this was our plan and the owner kindly decorated the house so beautifully for us. Such a wonderful stay, the house was perfect. Warm and cosy evenings by the fire yet a light and bright modern kitchen to enjoy. The space was amazing, there were 12 of us including the children but the house was perfect, lots of towels in each room. The beds were so comfortable and so well made! On arrival we were greeted with a lovely homemade cake and a loaf of bread. The hot tub was amazing and well maintained. We cannot wait to return in summer for a different experience. Can not fault the place, thankyou again x

Just back from an amazing break at Burgess house with family. The house itself is amazing! Spacious rooms which are very homely and extremely clean. The kitchen is equipped with everything you could wish for. The hot tub was fabulous and loved by adults and children. The area surrounding is perfect for the children to enjoy and explore plus the fishing pool was an extra bonus and my partner was very happy to catch a few carp. Would highly recommend and most definitely wish to return next year. Thank you Bridget (owner) for the delicious treats on arrival. Love the Brands and the Molnars.

Absolutely stunning house, in a beautiful location. Exceptional value for money. Bridgette (The house owner) was there to meet us with a friendly smile. She is a lovely lady and was more than happy to answer any questions that we had and show us round. The house is absolutely stunning, modern and kitted out with all the mod cons! We will definitely be back (we have started looking at dates for next year already). Thank you for a wonderful weekend. We will be back.

We often stay at at these type of cottages and never before have given straight "10s" across the board - Burgess House is a beautiful, private, quiet house, immaculately presented throughout yet also manages to feel like a "home from home". We were met by Bridget, the owner who could not have been more friendly and helpful and a welcome pack of local produce and a home made cake by Bridget went down very well! Will be booking again.
