spent most of the time away from the cottage but while we were there the cottage was good for what we required.the owners were friendly and helpful.

Only giving this review because asked too. Owner lovely and did their best to put right our dissatisfaction with the lack of cleanliness but it was too little too late. Hopefully after our experience and complaints things will improve for others

Cozy little cottage, the décor is a bit outdated but still comfortable, great location for long walks. During our stay we saw rabbits, deer, pheasants and lots of spring flowers. Local amenities are far but owners are extremely helpful and kindly offered to take us to the nearest shop or to buy us some groceries. I would recommend this cottage if you want a silent retreat to hide away from the hustle and bustle of city life.

Very small cold and damp. Poor cooking facilities.

    Response from:

Response on behalf of the owner; We find this review deeply disappointing since this guest did not stay in our cottage. Shortly after arriving the guests decided the property was too small for them and decided to leave, they were given a partial refund, based on the fact the cottage could not be re-let for that period. The size of the cottage is accurately depicted in the photos and the description which describes it as cosy and our other reviewers describe it as compact. Therefore guests can decide prior to booking whether the property is suitable for them.

A tiny well presented comfortable cottage with just enough space and limited cooking facilities, best for those intending to be out and about most of the day in the surrounding area. There is plenty to do, but you need a car. Quite a long walk to the local facilities.

Compact cottage in the most beautiful setting. Perfectly positioned for travel to many places as a short distance away from a good road network. The bed is very comfortable, the kitchen very compact and the sofa has seen better days.
