Set within the stunning Ceredigion countryside, these luxurious holiday homes have been recently (May 2018) completed by the owners who have created three individually designed properties with their own unique style and flair. They have been finished to the highest standard with luxury kitchens and bathrooms. Each has their own enclosed garden and super hot tub; something to luxuriate in whatever the weather!
Derwen, Welsh for Oak, (ref UKC3450) is a beautiful barn conversion with exposed beams and has a sleek kitchen/dining room leading to a spacious living room. The oak staircase leads to two first floor en-suite bedrooms, one with flexibility to be a twin or super kingsize, and the other with a kingsize bed. Bedwen, Welsh for Birch, (ref UKC3451), a perfect romantic getaway for two with exposed stonework and beams, has a classy open plan kitchen, dining and living space with a cosy wood burner and a separate kingsize bedroom with en-suite shower and toilet. The roof windows are conservation windows and as such, do not have blinds. Onnen, Welsh for Ash, (ref UKC342) is a lovely open plan design cottage with a stunning feature pallet wall and French doors leading to the garden and hot tub. There is a separate toilet on the ground floor, and upstairs there are two bedrooms which share a family bathroom. If you are bringing your pet on holiday, Onnen and Bedwen are pet friendly, there is even a little bit of luxury for them in the form of a heated dog wash facility! All of the properties also have access to an electric car charging point and a shared laundry room with washing machines and tumble dryer. The properties are situated within 26 acres of the owners’ grounds and they live adjacent. There is an abundance of wildlife in the area and you will almost certainly hear the owls hooting at night!
A short drive will bring you to the magnificent beach at Ynyslas, just north of Borth. There are three miles of stunning golden beach and boardwalks leading through the sand dunes. It is a fabulous place for walking, picnics or windsurfing and is part of the Dyfi National Nature Reserve, home to many rare plants and animals. In the summer the dunes transform into a colourful carpet of wild flowers including many rare types of orchid.
The Victorian seaside town Aberystwyth is 10 minutes’ drive away and here you can find lots of shops, cafés, and restaurants as well as the pier and promenade. The electric cliff railway to the summit of Constitution Hill offers the most magnificent views over Cardigan Bay which you can enjoy as you tuck into coffee and cake. Being a university town there is a large arts centre and you may catch a show or visit the cinema. Why not enjoy a ride on a steam train on the Vale of Rheidol Railway to the famous Devil’s Bridge, first built by monks in the 11th century? A walk down to see the plunging waterfalls is a must. Whatever your preferences for sight-seeing in this beautiful and dramatic area, you will have luxury to return to each day at Bryngwyn Canol. Beach 4¼ miles. Shop 1¾ miles, pub and restaurant 2 miles.
These properties can be booked together to accommodate up to 10 guests.

We had a wonderful Christmas in Onnen cottage and I would highly recommend staying here. The property is modern, well equipt (especially glad about this for Christmas cooking!), spacious, and dog friendly. The welcome treats were a lovely touch, and arriving to see Christmas Dec's up and a tree tastefully dressed was a great surprise and instantly had us feeling festive. We all hope that we can return on our next visit!

Cottage was lovely and clean and also well appointed. Only issue with property itself was the wifi being hit and miss and therefore the television would just freeze which was annoying. The welcome gifts were a nice touch as well as the lovely robes and hot tub towels. The enclosed garden was perfect for the children who also loved the hot tub. Local knowledge on amenities or recommendations locally would have been nice as well as leaflets for places to visit as had to google to find somewhere to take the children and as I said the wifi could be a bit hit and miss. Overall very lovely property and enjoyed our stay

Response on behalf of the owner; Thank you for your comments. We are very sorry to hear about the wifi, as with our rural location the wifi isn't a hundred percent reliable but we are constantly looking into how we can improve the service, but sometimes the drop outs are beyond our control. There are also leaflets in the laundry room about places to visit in the area. I tend not to leave them in the cottages so they aren't too cluttered.

Onnen is a beautiful cottage which is really well equipped. The owners have thought of everything. Super dog friendly with a dog ‘wash room’ which was perfect after our beach trips. The hot tub was a bonus and the bed and linens were super-comfy! We hope to return ?

This property was clean and very comfortable. It has a very modern kitchen with everything you need. The beds were great, slept well. It's in a complex of three with on site staff who were wonderful. The location is lovely, surrounded by countryside and sheep! Very quiet and peaceful.
