Set within the stunning Ceredigion countryside, these luxurious holiday homes have been recently (May 2018) completed by the owners who have created three individually designed properties with their own unique style and flair. They have been finished to the highest standard with luxury kitchens and bathrooms. Each has their own enclosed garden and super hot tub; something to luxuriate in whatever the weather!
Derwen, Welsh for Oak, (ref UKC3450) is a beautiful barn conversion with exposed beams and has a sleek kitchen/dining room leading to a spacious living room. The oak staircase leads to two first floor en-suite bedrooms, one with flexibility to be a twin or super kingsize, and the other with a kingsize bed. Bedwen, Welsh for Birch, (ref UKC3451), a perfect romantic getaway for two with exposed stonework and beams, has a classy open plan kitchen, dining and living space with a cosy wood burner and a separate kingsize bedroom with en-suite shower and toilet. The roof windows are conservation windows and as such, do not have blinds. Onnen, Welsh for Ash, (ref UKC342) is a lovely open plan design cottage with a stunning feature pallet wall and French doors leading to the garden and hot tub. There is a separate toilet on the ground floor, and upstairs there are two bedrooms which share a family bathroom. If you are bringing your pet on holiday, Onnen and Bedwen are pet friendly, there is even a little bit of luxury for them in the form of a heated dog wash facility! All of the properties also have access to an electric car charging point and a shared laundry room with washing machines and tumble dryer. The properties are situated within 26 acres of the owners’ grounds and they live adjacent. There is an abundance of wildlife in the area and you will almost certainly hear the owls hooting at night!
A short drive will bring you to the magnificent beach at Ynyslas, just north of Borth. There are three miles of stunning golden beach and boardwalks leading through the sand dunes. It is a fabulous place for walking, picnics or windsurfing and is part of the Dyfi National Nature Reserve, home to many rare plants and animals. In the summer the dunes transform into a colourful carpet of wild flowers including many rare types of orchid.
The Victorian seaside town Aberystwyth is 10 minutes’ drive away and here you can find lots of shops, cafés, and restaurants as well as the pier and promenade. The electric cliff railway to the summit of Constitution Hill offers the most magnificent views over Cardigan Bay which you can enjoy as you tuck into coffee and cake. Being a university town there is a large arts centre and you may catch a show or visit the cinema. Why not enjoy a ride on a steam train on the Vale of Rheidol Railway to the famous Devil’s Bridge, first built by monks in the 11th century? A walk down to see the plunging waterfalls is a must. Whatever your preferences for sight-seeing in this beautiful and dramatic area, you will have luxury to return to each day at Bryngwyn Canol. Beach 4¼ miles. Shop 1¾ miles, pub and restaurant 2 miles.
These properties can be booked together to accommodate up to 10 guests.

Would highly recommend this holiday home . We have stayed in many holiday let’s but this by far was the best , a real home from home plus more ! Leanne and family were lovely and made you feel so welcome. I had mentioned we were coming to celebrate our daughter’s Birthday and they had left her gifts and balloons which was lovely. The whole place was spotless and looked as new. There is plenty for everyone in the family to enjoy in the area. We will definitely be returning.

We had our best Christmas ever at this cottage. We loved the Christmas decorations and all the extra touches (welcome pack, prosecco and they even provided disposable roasting tins). We had requested a high chair and cot and the owners also provided a load of other baby equipment which was a godsend. We were really touched by the baby toiletries and towel too. The hot tub was lush and everything was so clean and organised. We’d love to visit again and we would definitely recommend it to all our family and friends!

Response on behalf of the owner; Thank you so much for your lovely comments. We try our best to make your stay as enjoyable as possible and fully understand how much equipment staying away with children can require. We hope to welcome you back to us in the future.

We had a lovely time and didn’t want to come home. The cottage was very clean and feels very cosy. We will be returning next year sometime. A taxi was only £12 into the town which had some lovely places to eat. Would highly recommend to friends and family :)

I took my girlfriend to the Derwen cottage for our 1 year anniversary and we’ve never had such a lovely time in all of our lives!! The place itself was so amazing and the king size bed was especially comfortable!! What was the best thing about it for me was the bath because I’m over 6ft and I was able to lie down in it without my knees sticking out and it was so relaxing!! Overall an absolutely amazing experience and I would 100% recommend it to another family/couple looking to get away!!

A lovely time on our first ever holiday in Wales. We stayed a week and can't fault the accomodation or the amenities and attractions in the area around Aberystwyth. We'll definitely be back!

This cottage was exceptionally well appointed. The owners live on site and were most helpful. It was in a good position for exploring the interesting places in the area.
