Set within the stunning Ceredigion countryside, these luxurious holiday homes have been recently (May 2018) completed by the owners who have created three individually designed properties with their own unique style and flair. They have been finished to the highest standard with luxury kitchens and bathrooms. Each has their own enclosed garden and super hot tub; something to luxuriate in whatever the weather!
Derwen, Welsh for Oak, (ref UKC3450) is a beautiful barn conversion with exposed beams and has a sleek kitchen/dining room leading to a spacious living room. The oak staircase leads to two first floor en-suite bedrooms, one with flexibility to be a twin or super kingsize, and the other with a kingsize bed. Bedwen, Welsh for Birch, (ref UKC3451), a perfect romantic getaway for two with exposed stonework and beams, has a classy open plan kitchen, dining and living space with a cosy wood burner and a separate kingsize bedroom with en-suite shower and toilet. The roof windows are conservation windows and as such, do not have blinds. Onnen, Welsh for Ash, (ref UKC342) is a lovely open plan design cottage with a stunning feature pallet wall and French doors leading to the garden and hot tub. There is a separate toilet on the ground floor, and upstairs there are two bedrooms which share a family bathroom. If you are bringing your pet on holiday, Onnen and Bedwen are pet friendly, there is even a little bit of luxury for them in the form of a heated dog wash facility! All of the properties also have access to an electric car charging point and a shared laundry room with washing machines and tumble dryer. The properties are situated within 26 acres of the owners’ grounds and they live adjacent. There is an abundance of wildlife in the area and you will almost certainly hear the owls hooting at night!
A short drive will bring you to the magnificent beach at Ynyslas, just north of Borth. There are three miles of stunning golden beach and boardwalks leading through the sand dunes. It is a fabulous place for walking, picnics or windsurfing and is part of the Dyfi National Nature Reserve, home to many rare plants and animals. In the summer the dunes transform into a colourful carpet of wild flowers including many rare types of orchid.
The Victorian seaside town Aberystwyth is 10 minutes’ drive away and here you can find lots of shops, cafés, and restaurants as well as the pier and promenade. The electric cliff railway to the summit of Constitution Hill offers the most magnificent views over Cardigan Bay which you can enjoy as you tuck into coffee and cake. Being a university town there is a large arts centre and you may catch a show or visit the cinema. Why not enjoy a ride on a steam train on the Vale of Rheidol Railway to the famous Devil’s Bridge, first built by monks in the 11th century? A walk down to see the plunging waterfalls is a must. Whatever your preferences for sight-seeing in this beautiful and dramatic area, you will have luxury to return to each day at Bryngwyn Canol. Beach 4¼ miles. Shop 1¾ miles, pub and restaurant 2 miles.
These properties can be booked together to accommodate up to 10 guests.

A fabulous holiday cottage. Spotlessly clean and 5 star. Hot tub was very welcome and the lovely dog treats. Welsh cakes were also the best we have had. Perfect accommodation for 2 and dog. Only negative is not enough mugs and cups.....need more so we don't have to put on dishwasher so often!!!!

Just back from a weeks stay at Bedwen - It was absolutely perfect! The cottage is definately 5* accommodation and has been furnished beautifully. It was well equipped meaning we had everything we needed during our stay. The outside area was ideal for our dog - It was completely enclosed meaning we could relax whilst in the hot tub. The location of the cottage is pretty central to all attractions in the mid wales area. We especially liked exploring the local natural resources - Hafren Forest, Coed y Brenin, Ynlasas & the Haford Estate. Leanne is a brilliant host and she went the extra mile to ensure we had a holiday to remember. We will definately be back.

Nothing not to like! The cottage is spacious, very comfortable, exceptionally clean and with every mod con to hand. It has been renovated to a very high standard with high quality fixtures and fittings. The hot tub is a fantastic bonus, as is the private, enclosed garden which makes it very dog friendly. We loved the rural location, yet it is easy to explore the local vicinity being close to both the coast and fantastic countryside. The owners are fab and we really appreciated the lovely 'Welcome' pack with Welsh cakes, milk, fresh apple juice (to name a few!) plus treats, toys, a bed and bowls for the dog on our arrival. Definitely a place to return to!

We had a wonderful holiday in August. It was lovely and peaceful and so nice to be able to take our dog with us to a property with such high grade accommodation and safe enclosed garden. It was perfect, would recommend.

We have stayed in a lot of cottages over the years but Bedwen is the best ever. Everything about it was beautiful, clean and well looked after, the owners were lovely. The hot tub is super after a hard days sightseeing so relaxing. We will be going back. Chris and Chris.

This beautiful tranquil Welsh barn conversion is in an idyllic spot, sheep and bird song, country lane and views of fields beyond with red kites flying above. The cottage is set in a courtyard of two others and the owners home, but secluded and private. A nice tidy quiet garden to relax in with decking and covered hot tub, seating and a swing seat to soak up the afternoon sun. Bedwen was fabulous inside and out, luxurious fixtures and fitting, open beams giving a rustic yet boutique feel. Fabulous kitchen and very comfy king-size bed. Ten minutes from the lovely town of Aberystwyth or just a few miles from the beautiful sandy beach of ynslas. Its just a perfect retreat for two and nothing at all to fault. 10/10 If anything the rural location made it hard to find a decent gastro type pub that looked nice for evening food, so self catering and a supply of food recommended. A real teat was the welcome pack of Welsh treats... Thank you for a wonderful holiday.... Missing the hot tub so much!
