There are also some lovely independent shops to browse around, river walks and golf. From the cottage you are only a few minutes away form the hidden gem Penmachno Bike Trails, and further down the valley, the famous Marin Bike Trails at Gwydir Forrest. Minutes from the doorstep there are some breath taking walks. You can even take a wander around the now disused slate quarry, or for the more adventurous, why no delve below and take a tour into the caves with ’Go Below Underground Adventures’.
