This really does make a wonderful base for exploring Snowdonia as well as the lovely countryside and golden sandy beaches of Anglesey, about 10 miles away. Caernarfon, with its magnificent castle, fine selection of pubs, shops and restaurants, and the university town of Bangor, are both within easy reach. Beach 11¾ miles. Shop 200 yards, pub and restaurant 2 miles.
