Cottage lovely and very well equipped. There is a main road outside but you don't hear any noise when inside. Local shops are a drive away, but only about 5 mins or so.

The cottage was ideal for our needs in location and an enclosed garden etc. for our dog. Our dog is 13 now and was not interested in leaping over the wall to the road but younger dogs may well think about it. The garden was large and the cottage had everything you could think of as regards kitchen utensils and crockery and plenty of each. A real bonus for me was the downstairs bedroom with en-suite, as I had recently broken my knee and ruptured the tendon and having no stairs was a great help. The laminate flooring everywhere was a little difficult for our elderly dog but we managed with rugs and rubber matting from the car to help him. He had a great holiday ! Garstang is a great little town with a large supermarket and chemist and surgery and also many smaller shops and a market. Trips to Morecambe, Preston and Chorley were successful for tracing family tree connections and birth places. Thank you.

We arrived to find a couple of weather related problems which were sorted out swiftly and professionally by the owner. She couldn’t have been more helpful soon had us cosy and warm by lighting a fire and finding a fan heater to boost our elderly mother’s temperature. The beds were extremely comfortable, the showers were hot and the towels fluffy and plentiful. We’d only booked the cottage for three nights due to family commitments but all wished we could have stayed longer to explore the surrounding area. The

Even better than expected, attention to detail was spot on! Beds were so comfy and the house was spotless! Views were stunning and the local pub was only a 5 min walk which served lovely food and drinks at a reasonable price. Definitely stay again.

Lovely place, plenty of space for us all, very well equipped. The only drawback was it was to close to a very busy road which had no pavement, so every time you wanted to walk the dogs you had to drive first.

A lovely cottage in a rural area but close enough to amenities. The cottage is well-equipped and the kitchen is huge. We stayed in winter and loved the log fire. The brook at the bottom of the garden would be nice and relaxing to sit by with a glass of wine in warmer weather. As two families staying together we found the accommodation spacious and liked the parking spaces available. The cottage lost a mark for location, however, because of the tight turn in to the entrance from the road. Recommended visits are to the Rose Bowl in Garstang and Old Holly farm.

A wonderfully spacious cottage for two families of 4 and a dog. Large bedrooms and very comfy beds, cozy living room and a spacious kitchen diner. Garstang is just 10 minutes away and the local pub is a 5 min walk. Had a lovely New year break, would definitely recommend.

Absolutely lovely cottage, with everything you could ever need provided. Slightly more remote than we expected, with nothing really in walking distance
